Amy received her B.A. in Accounting and in Finance from Mt. St. Mary’s University. After working in various auditing and financial leadership roles for a Fortune 200 company and traveling worldwide, Amy left the corporate world to focus on her growing family. Over the years she has performed accounting work for small businesses and served as a school volunteer, including several years as PTA treasurer and president. Amy and her husband fell in love with the country and people of Guatemala over several visits throughout the process of adopting two of their children. It was during a soccer party that Amy heard about the mission of Steam Abroad and knew she wanted to be involved.
