Jade Nesbitt, LMSW

Jade Marie Nesbitt is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Español from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Immediately after graduating, Jade landed a position as Program Director at the Boys and Girls Club, Inc. of Philadelphia where she created and facilitated an after-school program. One year later, Ms. Nesbitt decided to call Baltimore her new home-away-from-home. Currently, Jade serves as a Mental Health Therapist at All Walks of Life LLC. Jade was fortunate enough to receive the James C. Stokes Fellowship from All Walks of Life LLC, where she was able to attend the great Morgan State University while being immersed in learning the practice of community-based therapy. Jade has conducted research exploring medication adherence barriers to people 45 years old and older who live with HIV. She has also researched using surveys as a tool to explore alternative therapies with clients enrolled in mental health therapy. Jade has also served as the Education and Training Committee Chair of the Baltimore Legacy Chapter of the Association of Black Social Workers.
